So much beach, so little water....
Well folks this will be my last post for awhile, it may be alittle over a month before I have the opportunity to post again. I sent Dave a whole bunch of pictures to post so they will be up probably before I post again. Take care of yourselves and I'll be writing again soon with everything that happened between here and there.

a break in the storm
Hey everyone! yes I'm talkin' to you too Mr. "I'll just take a quick look for new pictures" ha, ha, you didn't think I saw ya, well no picks yet but they will be there, I can't send 'em like I normally would so I'm burning them to a disc for my boys back home to take care of, I was just waitin' till my vacation in pensacola was over. There are still 2 days for family to visit us here, and the big going away ceremony at the end, then ill burn this disk and pictures will finally be up. Well I guess that's all for now.....Oh! you wanna hear about pensacola..I'm gonna keep it clean here people, I went there and partied with about 7 other buddies from here, we had some drinkies, and ate at some really good restaurants, no-one got arrested, or beat-up, and some of us found the love of our life, If only we had gotten phone-numbers...maybe next time wink anyway, it was everything a bunch of soldiers would be lookin for when given a break before deploying, and it was well earned I believe. OK. we leave in about 3 weeks I'll post before then and maybe pictures will be up too so stay tuned. Sincerly..T-Dawg.

where does the time go...
Well people, its March 7th, I've been back from JRTC for about 2 weeks. We have been doing some last minute training and some long powerpoint briefs and it has come to today, kinda laid back, tomorrow I have a PT test (I'll pass, no worries). and on the 9th I'll be released for the weekend, going to pensacola with a couple army buddies, where we will let loose a little steam and enjoy the beach for the last time in a long time to come. Time seems to be slipping by faster now as our day approaches to leave familiar soil for unfamiliar sand. I'm not gonna lie to ya....the thought of going over and doing this job is a scary proposition. After seeing all the videos and training briefs and instructors teach us all they can, all you can rely on is to hope you learned as much as you can so you and your buddies come home safe, and if I accomplish no more than that....well, thats good enough for me. As I've stated before the Itro-net has been infrequent for me here, but I'm hoping I'll be able to write more often once in country. If you pray to a God than pray for us over there, If all you can do is bake cookies, I like chocolate chip, none of that oatmeal raisin stuff, but think of us often because believe me the closer we get, and the longer we are over there all we will be thinking about is coming home to you all. Sincerely Troy.

JRTC
It's the day before we leave to Fort Polk, Louisiana. We need to finish packing up the few things left in our lockers, that we will need there, later today they will let us go into town to pick up anything we might need for the next 3 weeks. The last couple days have been nice, we have had time to ourselves to relax, sleep, play football or video games, watch movies, while also making sure we are ready for our final test/evaluation in fort polk to see how well we do. 2 nights ago the medic platoon went out to eat together at the outback steakhouse, I think overall the platoon gets along well, and will work well together. We know where we will be stationed at when we get over in Iraq, and I'll let you know as soon as it's cleared that I can, but be assured that I've looked into this place and It is as safe and secure as it can get over there. I have alot of pictures I'll be sending but it may be awhile before you see them, my buddy Dave who runs this website for me, lost his house in earlt January to a fire so hes dealing with that issue as a priority in his spare time, keep checking every now and then though, they will be up eventually. I have a new address....but don't bother sending anything because it will change again when I go o Iraq. OK people, take care, I'll write as soon as I'm back from JRTC. Peace, Troy

Little old lady who...
I used that title because if you say it fast enough people will think you can Yodle, Sometimes I get the urge to Teach people things, and now you can yodle, you never know when you might need that skill, but next time your stressed out at work just belt that out loud and proud, you'll feel better, or embarrassed cause people are staring at you but it'll take your mind off what your stressing about for a time smile . Ha, Ha, Ha, I'm such a silly bitch sometimes, it's true, michelle says I'm silly in comments from the previous post....anyway I'm back from our field training and it was mostly boring with spurts of fun (I like that word "spurts"). Now we are back in the barracks and packing for JRTC. Joint Readiness Training Center. We will ack all our gear, load our ambulances on rail cars, and go to Fort Polk Louisiana, for a couple weeks of training. While we are there we will play just like we would as if we were in Iraq. Gives us a chance to work out any Kinks we still might have in our system. I can tell you the medics will perform well, I feel pretty confident about the skills me and the people I'm with have. I'll try to get a post in before we leave to JRTC because I won't have access to the Intro-net there. Spurts...he-he-heh...funny. Ok my peeps take care, sweet dreams, have a nice day, don't work to hard, use whatever fits for the occasion, thnik of me often, I know once you picture me in your mind you'll at least smile, or laugh, long as I brighten your day. Love T-Dawg (thats me).
